This “she shed” or sewing shack, designed by Jules Holgate is a crafter’s oasis at home…
Jules Holgate designed the Sewing Shack as a bright and airy, yet practical creative space for the avid crafter. Inspired by garden flowers such as daisies, the color palette used consists of lemon, white and green to create a peaceful studio space in which to relax and enjoy. Jules included lots of natural light that is essential for needlepoint, hand sewing, and embroidery work. Jules also wanted to include practical storage solutions to ensure the sewing shack stays uncluttered.
After several years working in marketing and events, Jules Holgate recently decided to take a career break to further her skills and follow her passion for design. She is currently studying an MA Interior Design course at the University of Central Lancashire, with a focus on reinterpreting vintage products for entertainment and educational purposes.
